Mark's Project Pages/Electronics

Electronics Projects:

Details of my non-audio electronics projects...

Isolation Transformer:
An essential item for electrical safety, and is something that the workshop lacked for ages. After a refurbishment at work, I was able to make a decent unit.
Active Speaker:
A simple powered speaker, built using a TDA2030 long before GainClones were all the rage! This was intended to be used as a simple piece of test gear, but sounds so nice that I use it as my bedside radio.
Dual PSU:
A dual bench power supply with digital metering. Designed for use with op-amp based circuit development, it features split supply rails with very accurate tracking modes. Output voltages are ±0 to 18V, with variable and precise current limiting up to 2A per rail.
Olde 'Scope:
Years ago I was given this old Telequipment DM63 - unfortunately it had a triggering fault. An obsolete custom-made IC was the cause, and as it was impossible to replace, I had to build a circuit to replace the functionality of the IC.
Batt-Mon:
Part of the Garden Shed project, this simple unit performs the two functions of light switch and battery monitoring and protection.
